Several rounds of refinement, working closely with both the sigma technical team and the client.
First variants were all based on different functional assumptions regarding use & technology, together with the team and ikea, narrowed to the final direction.
Design team interacted with sigma, client, and vendor engineers to ensure the details were right, keepiing all focsed on details important to the client & end user (such as a minimized step from plug edge to unit edge to ensure unit would not cover adjacent outlets) making sure that which the vendor creates is actually the product the client wants
